Day 2: Work Out Plan.. According to "Kanye Banville"

One and..
Two and..
Three and..
Four and..
Get them sit-ups right and..
Tuck yo' tummy tight and..
Do your crunches like this..

Kanye's tune can be a motivator sure, but what are we raelly here to talk about...... FITNESS!!

 Anyways.. Day 2..

Day 2 was fab-ish..

I stayed right around 1600 calories for the day, and continued the turbo jam exercise.
Tuesday's disc was "Fat Blaster".. A shorter workout time-wise, but the intervals in turbo speeds definitely kicked me into high gear. I've been having a bit of pain up through my hamstring and lower back, but the exercise seems to be helping. After battling a knee injury that for sure knocked me off my rocker, it's those little pains that help push me through. Just behing able to walk, jog, kick, and punch... Jumping around with some kind of intensity and not sitting on the couch with a swollen joint. The ability to be alive keeps me going... and going... and going.. like that carzy energizer bunny!

Pre-Turbo Jam workout included 5 solid minutes on the balance board and some shake weight action. Post-Turbo was crunches on the foam roller and lite yoga on the mat.

The workouts make me HUNGRY! Which worries me whether or not my intake of calories is sufficient for the day. But at the very least, it helps me eat a full dinner.

The breakfasts have been going well (so far).. I am actually eating somethign for breakfast rather than starving myself until 11 o'clock. And i've been trying my best to work some bettwe healthy choices into my daily lunches.
Today's eats: yogurt (100 cal.), banana (90 cal.), pb chip chewy granola bar (100 cal.), 8oz coffee w. cream (50 cal.), .5 cheesesteak sub with tomatoes (360 cal.), 6oz cola (65 cal.), slimfast shake (100 cal), 1 cup white rice (240 cal.), 1 chicken wing (160 cal.), 2 beef teriyaki sticks (200 cal.) mixed cocktail (~120 cal.), fudgicle (60 cal.) = Totaling roughly 1645.

However, with the merge of exercise and calories burned through exercise, I end up being closer to a total of roughly 1400 calories for the day. (assuming all of my calories eaten and calories burned calculations are correct).. I'm new at this.. and i'm trying.

I also got a call from my sister Tuesday afternoon, recommening herself as my sponsor.. someone to help keep me in check, especially on days where I am feeling a little less motivated to work out.. or "really feel like baking a plate of cookies".. (and then of course, eating them)..

Whelp.. here goes nothin'.. onto "Day 3"!

  1. Your sponsor has a solution for the cookies!
Make the dough, put them on the cookie sheet as if you're going to bake them all, but the, put the in the freezer instead. After frozen keep them in a zip lock bag, then when you're craving cookies you can just cook one or two!

(and hide the frozen cookie dough so you don't eat them before cooking them ;-) )
